Travel & Parking

Bibury was never designed to accommodate the volume of traffic it now receives. Parking is limited because of the nature of the village's narrow streets that frequently  become congested, particularly at weekends, during school holidays and on bank holidays.

Bibury Trout Farm on Ablington Road offers a pay-and-display car park. Spaces can fill quickly on busy days and there is very little public parking elsewhere in the village.

Please do not park on residential roads, grass verges, pavements or anywhere that restricts access for residents, buses, deliveries or emergency vehicles.

Traffic enforcement officers operate daily throughout the village.

If the village is particularly busy when you arrive, please don't park on grass verges, instead consider exploring the beautiful countryside that surrounds Bibury.

A quieter Bibury offers a more enjoyable experience for everyone.
