About Bibury

Bibury is a historic Cotswold village with a history stretching back many centuries. Best known for Arlington Row and the River Coln, it is one of the most photographed villages in England and attracts visitors from across the world.

Despite its international reputation, Bibury remains a small rural community with just fewer than 500 residents. It is not an open-air museum or purpose-built visitor attraction, but a living village where people work, raise families and go about their daily lives.

The village's special character is the result of centuries of careful stewardship. We hope every visitor enjoys what makes Bibury unique and helps preserve it for future generations.
